Hello, my name is Tony Chang~
Yes, I do want to be a pilot since I was a child and it was never changed and replace by other type of ambition… =) Although my dad ever said that "发你的春秋大梦!"or"Stop dreaming on Spring and Autumn!"meaning to say: "Do not build a castle in the air!" :\
Why do I want to be a pilot? I don't know but I have a great feeling that I should to be participate in the aviation field or flying with airplane as well...
While my first flight story started at:
Since I was a baby boy (just a few months old), I have already taken my first flight from Sandakan to Alor Star via Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. It was a fascinating journey although I do now know the entire route. Yeah, a baby do not know what's happening to him/her, he/she can only know want to drink milk and sleep. The reason of my first ride was because my granddad passed away due to stomach cancer.
Almost every year my family and I will go back to my hometown by taking airplane and motorcar during festival seasons, some critical condition of illness of relatives (esp. my grand mum), funeral and wedding ceremonies of relative and during school holidays. Frankly speaking, I only discovered that taking flight matter after I was going kindergarten and teacher taught me about airplane matter (in fact, she only teach what is an airplane). After I know this, then I keep asking mum on the next ‘balik kampung’ season. I remembered that one of the questions that I asked my mum when we waited at the departure hall, “妈妈,是谁在飞机里面驾飞机的呢?” or “Mama, whose operate the airplane?” She replied, “是那个穿白衣, 头顶顶着黑色帽子的叔叔咯。” or “It was operated by the uncle whose worn white shirt with black cap above.” Then I amazed that they were those ‘drive’ and control the airplane fly above the sky and headed to the place of arrival.
Apart from that, there is a sillier thing is, one time, I greet an uncle pilot during the time I waited at the departure hall at Subang Airport Terminal Three when I was about standard two or three, I rushed in front and looked up at him, I asked, “How do u make the airplane fly?””How do you keep airplane fly in the sky without dropping on the ground or sea?””How do you control the flight? Is it a complicated job?” “How do you…”, he looked at me and smiled brightly answered my question, “You will know that after you have steep into secondary school.”
As time pass by, since I have step into secondary school and form four and five. As the uncle pilot told me, I really could understand how the airplane flies on the sky through Bernoulli’s Principle and the airplane was really can fly by those aerofoil shaped wings on the left and right hand side. In fact, the flight was flies steadily by the flow of air over the top has to travel faster and creates a region of low pressure. On the other hand, while the flow of air below the aerofoil with lower air speed than above, resulting in a region of higher pressure and thus can fly steadily about 25000 until 30000 feet above the sea level. Nevertheless, it still have to take count how is the weather condition, thus it can fly steadily.
I believe that the operation of flight was not that simple. While it must be complicated and sophisticated, since there are so many things have to learn, such that: weather or meteorology, geography (esp. geographic coordinates), calculating distance and time of flight through nautical mile and latitudes of from one location to another location, rate of acceleration and retardation during flight time and so on. I also understand that all these must be calculate accurately and take high attention to avoid "bad things" happen and avoid flight delay. That is why I am here to post this and hoping to successful to grab a chance of get into this program of lovely AirAsia Bhd and start to learn whether “how is the airplane can fly safely above the sky?” and learn the complicated and sophisticated stuff of an airplane and also the cultural of AirAsia.

Anyway, I understand that my posting was not as well as other did previously, but I have already tried my best in posting this article. Since then, I have tried to edit and typing this since midnight of Apr 7 till 2 o’clock and then continue on 1200 until 1400, totally about 4 hrs.
The pictures below are taken during my journey with AirAsia:
I like to fly, this picture snapped aimed at lovely highest mountain in Malaysia, Mount Kinabalu far away...
I like to see the condition above the cloud, that's why I snapped this (The blanket of clouds was represent the coming of Cold Stream below~)

It was Plover Cove Reservoir/船湾淡水湖, located in northeastern New Territories, the largest reservoir in Hong Kong.

During take off from Shenzhen Bao'an Intl Airport back to Kota Kinabalu...

I like to discover the world, esp, all about locations, geographic site, and also calculate the distance through this. It was my little world in the Google Earth...
Cheer!
P/s: Do not selfish on any information or any opportunities! For me, I’ll inform my loving ex-classmates, friends and anonymous personnel regarding this program as well to let them know and ask them to grab a chance to be a pilot also… =)
